So with that I will log off so please bare with me friends and hopefully readers..., as we take this journey called life together.... because its too short to go it alone. ;) Have a beautiful holiday weekend .... Im for one going to The PA Poconos Mountains ... I was invited by friends and Im trilled , I will be missing a free concert with Earth, Wind and Fire on the  Benjamin Franklin Parkway... and I LOVE them, but I need the peace and good company , I may even get a write in...l. LETTING GO

Letting Go

I released my problems with exhausted breathlessness
as if helium was the magic ingredient.
A secret whisper with years of frustrations entering
each colored balloon.
Up they go one by one with a wisp of my breath each
one floating on clouds of fate and hope.
The breezy feeling of it all comparable to that of a refreshing
shower washing my troubles down the drain.
Anointed beads of forgiveness beat gently on my face.
Each delicate vessel holds a different pain.
A distinguishable emotion that has caused me distress,
anxiety, misery , sorrow.
I let them go filled with doubt and heavy heart, freeing
me from disillusions that have held me captive.
What a daunting task for these fragile creatures filled
with my manifestations of anguish.
Some may make their way back down to me from time
to time , that’s life.
Now I close my eyes breath in then out filling my spheres
of freedom, cross my fingers and then ……….
LET GO !!!!!!!!

SILVERY LINES

SILVERY LINES

Cresting waves crash
Crescent moon stands
Half way here mid way
there

In those fine silvery lines
is where I see you , you
look back I blink your
gone

Blue moon, Red sun
Gray sky, Purple haze
Save me from my
Thoughts

Are you really there?
Stay! GO! Move on
Towards the clouds
Come Back

Through the fabric
There is a tear
Just enough to see
You

Just a strand of light
In there between night
beyond the matter silver
You Wait

Here in the glow
Of the earth until
sun meets moon
is where I am

When thread gives
To wind separate
Heart , mind ,soul
Body

Hushed Breaths
Eyes Closed
Dark meets light
I will see you
Again

Hot Child In The Summer Urban Dwelling

Hot Child In the Summer Urban Dwelling

The city streets are buckling under the  sticky smoldering heat.
Urban life at this moment can be so draining while tensions are
high. People stop, wipe the sweat from their brow as they attempt
to inhale and breath. "Hey I heard that wheeze from across the street Tony".

Heat choking the life out of us like a looming marauding monster.
Beads drip from angry faces while tempers flare, sirens roar in a city
of despair. Yes Will Smith's song "Summer Time" and the spark of
nostalgia from BBQ's help but its still Spring.

If you have the money you can take a drive down the Jersey shore
or to the Poconos cooling peaks.
A place to breath without choking pollution, heat advisory's and the smells of
unidentfied unknown origins. Don't get me wrong there are allot of redeaming
quaitly's of summer in the city as well.

Dinning alfresco, summer concerts, water ice, open fire plugs, Mister softy
and block parties. Small reliefs of the constant three wheelers screeching
down the Blvd, fighting nieghboors, and relentless driping humidty.
As they say here on the east coast "If it werent for the humidity I
wouldnt mind the heat". Sure you wouldnt ( wink)

Windows opened as the baby across the alley way crys and the guy
next door yells at his girlfriend while she fires back screaming
like a fish wife. The poor are getting thier relief from a rubber hose
spraying water and the rich are relaxing in the Hamptons.  Well I guess
if I had it like that I would enjoy it too, then again I more
likey would open a home for battered women and children, build the
pool there.  Shit how I wish I had it like that.

I suposse theres no sense in complaining about the heat,  just write
it out the best way I know how to deal.  So excuse me while I leave
you now to step onto cool tiles of the tub, turn on the crystal clear
water and wash the clamy sticky heat down the drain. Into the Delaware
river of redemption as I take my  sixth shower of the day (wink) .
